Indoor Ultimate Competition - Summer 2013

Brisbane's Second Annual Indoor Ultimate League is here again. Its a short, 6 week Indoor league thats smaller, faster and more intense making it quite different to outdoor, alot of fun and a great lead up to BUML season 1! Improve your precision on short and quick throws, increase your game flow and awareness, or simply run yourself raggered and enjoy this unique and rare league!

BUML 4 week hat league, 2012

The Brisbane Ultimate Mixed League community of friends and family is invited to come play the BUML summer comp, a 4 week Hat League. This league is for all level of players from beginner through to experienced.

Queensland Hat 2012

After the success of last years inaugural Queensland Hat tournament, there will be a second installment on the weekend of the 24th and 25th of November. Last year's event was hot, fun, social, had great food, and also great ultimate. This year's tournament will be no different and... there will also be the QUDA ball on the Saturday night that doubles as the tournament party! We will be looking at the possibility of billeting out of towners to entice folk to make the trip to Brisbane.

Come down to Fehlberg Park in Yeronga to have a relaxed round of disc golf. This is a great opportuntity for new comers and experienced players alike to kick off the weekend with a nice round or two...

Big Sky 12s

The Big Sky 12s tournament will be held on 10th November this year.

It is the 4th year of a highly enjoyable and extremely worthwhile event. Once again, we’re asking people to dig deep to help out their mates, by either playing in the tournament, making a donation or buying/selling raffle tickets.

BPL Season 2, 2012

The Brisbane Premier League kicks off again, with seven teams for season 2, 2012.

This season also sees the launch of the BPL website which includes rules, draws and match reports.

BUML Season 2, 2012

With Season 1 now over, it is time to look forward to Season 2, 2012.

WUFL Season 1, 2012

Due to increase in numbers and demand, we will run tw WUFL seasons this year!

In order to make things easier, we would like to manage WUFL using Teamer (http://teamer.net/), so don't be surprise if you have received/will receive an invitation, just accept it please.

Both seasons will run for 8 weeks! Each night will start with a quick warm-up and skills session for the first half, and go on with a one hour game! This will ensure that no one pulls a muscle and everyone can improve on their throwing and their game!

2012 Annual General Meeting

Greetings Queensland ultimate community,

The Annual General Meeting of the Queensland Ultimate Disc Association (QUDA) will be held on Saturday 3 March 2012, at the Griffith Sports Fields, Kessels Road, Nathan at approximately 12pm (i.e. during the lunch break at Regionals / Women's Hat.

The purpose of the AGM is to elect the 2012-13 Management Committee, report on 2011, and consider any motions or general business.

We will aim to circulate the QUDA Annual Report 2011 via email before the meeting, and have copies available on the day.

2012 Women's Hat Tournament

The 2012 Women's Hat Tournament is run on Saturday March 3, 2012, this is the first day of 2012 Regionals

The cost of the day is $20, which includes: Fields, Insurance, Lunches both days, Fruit, Prizes, Party, Bar Tab, Pizza plus some other stuff. There will be a canteen selling cold cold sports drinks and a few other goodies. Gates open 7.45am. Games start at 9am. You can pay via bank transfer (please include your name in the reference): BSB 034 000; Account Number: 515472 or cash on the day.
